Japan Day

Konnichiwa

Today was Japan Day for all the 3rd graders. All 170+ kids had on their Hapi coats and moved from station to station learning about different things in the Japanese culture. I was a tour guide and actually both Emily and Morgan were in my group. This was fun because usually I have to alternate between the two classes. This morning they did Origami, made Apple Blossoms, ate rice with chopsticks, Japanese folk dancing and Ikebana( flower arranging).

So cute!! Are those the coats that Wayne's mom made? Very impressive. Emily and Morgan must have had a great day.
