Family Tennis

Morgan and I have been taking a family tennis lesson together the last few weeks. It has been wonderful doing something together---just the two of us. This is the first time Morgan has taken a tennis lesson and it has been about 20 years since I have played.

A Perfect Weekend

Fall through the Eyes of Emily, Wayne & Max....the first one is "Leaf my butt alone" which the 3 of them think is hilarous.

Fun Run

Today it was Emily's classes turn for the Fun Run. It is the school's annual fund raiser. The kids run around the gym doing as many laps as possible. This year the class with the most school spirit gets a pizza party, so Emily made a sign for her head to wear during the run.

Another Soccer Season Ends

Emily had her last soccer game this morning. She has had a great time learning new skills with a new soccer club and playing her first team sport with Madison. We are very proud of her.

Lunch a Bunch

Jill was the brave sole today to have 11 kids and 5 adults over for lunch. It was very festive with Halloween decorations and an intense soccer game in the back yard. Thanks for a yummy lunch, Jill!

Check Mate

Max is obsessed with Chess these days. The minute Wayne gets home from work the first thing he asks him is if he will play chess with him. The girls play too and everyone is mad that I don't want to learn :-)

Pumpkin Patch

Max had his school field trip to the pumpkin patch today. The girls don't have school today so they were able to go with. Max had fun introducing his teacher and all his friends to his sisters.

Uncle Steve is Here

Uncle Steve has barely been here 24 hours and the kids have already had him play chess, rummikube, baseball, basketball and they went bowling this afternoon. So fun having him here.

The Highs & Lows of living with a Sports Fan

Wayne was all smiles this afternoon when Navy beat Airforce in football. But there has been a lot of moaning and groaning as his Cubbies are having a slow death in the playoffs.

Koele got a much needed bath and haircut today. The hair cutters cut him a little different...the kids think he looks like a wolf.
