Fall Sports

Today was a busy day of fall sports. We started out at Peyton's soccer game, then to Emily & Morgan's soccer games and ended with Madison's volleyball game. We drove across America to get to all the events but we had gorgeous weather which made it all worth it.

Friday Festivities

The day started out with Mom, Jill and I at IKEA. We bought a few things but spent most of our time giggling.





We celebrated Papa's birthday tonight. His real birthday is in 5 days, but we had fun celebrating early.

Family Meeting

When all 5 kids were in school today...Mom, Dad, Jill and I went out for lunch and then to the NIKE store for a little shopping. We were trying to remember the last time that JUST the four of us had lunch together....it has been a long time.

Morgan's Turn

Morgan had her fun run today. She isn't home from school yet so I don't know how many laps she did. I do know her goal was to beat both Max & Emily.

Max is doing the Fun Run today....he has been waiting a long time for his turn.


Hanging out with the cousins after church yesterday. As you can see, one of the cousins was a not into posing.



Emily checked out a bunch of cook books at the library and made these Swirl Sugar Cookies all by herself. Morgan said that they were the fanciest cookies she has ever seen!




Emily was all set for the Fun Run this morning....a school fundraiser.

Fall

In the last week or two the leaves have begun to turn here. Wayne took these pictures around his office today. Fall really is gorgeous in Oregon before the rain kicks in.

Now That's a Basil Plant

I bought this basil plant at the beginning of the summer. It has been in the garden but since the temps are starting to drop and the rain is coming I decided it needed to come inside for the winter. We will see how long it lasts.

Blue Ice

Today was our 4th soccer game of the season and I finally remembered my camera.

A little sideline action

JDRF Walk

Today our family participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk at Oaks Park. We walked with "Nate's Navigators" and about 5,000 other people. Nate is a cousin of ours on the Trask side. He has an amazing story...check out his video: http://www.vimeo.com/6306388

Nate was one of 4 ambassadors of the walk and did a little talk before the walk.




Elmo even made an appearance.

The walk starts and ends at Oaks Park so all the kids had fun riding on the rides.
