PRE-Birthday Celebration

Grandma Tina leaves tomorrow morning so we decided to have an early celebration with her. First Max made his cupcakes for his party tomorrow.

Then Grandma and the girls made him a birthday cake.

We celebrated with pizza, watched a movie, and ended with birthday cake.

And he even got to open a couple presents.

A Day of Thanks

I am thankful for Adam & Debora opening their home to us on Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for extended cousins who can all be together and have fun playing with each other.

I am thankful for my cousin and my sister who I can also call my friends.

I am thankful for boys who like to play chess.

I am thankful for first cousins who live close enough that we can get together on Thanksgiving.

Change is Good

Morgan decided she was ready for a change. She wanted to get a few layers and have a long side bang that sort of goes over her eye! She hasn't had bangs for 5 years...we all love the new look.

Let the Games Begin

Not sure how the kids talked Wayne into it, but he has been playing Monopoly with them the last couple of days....they are in heaven!

The View from our Street

I was pulling into our cul de sac after running a few errands today and I couldn't believe how gorgeous Mt. Hood was....they got a bunch of snow and the sun was just hitting it right.

Kindergarten Family Feast

Today was the Thanksgiving Feast in Max's class. The kids made soup, muffins and had apple cider for all the parents. Emily and Morgan were able to sneak out of their classes for an hour to support their brother. They also sang some fun fall songs for our entertainment.

Arizona Visitor

My buddy, Jennifer came out to spend a few days with us. She and I have been friends since freshman year of college.

The kids have been in heaven having someone new to tell all their stories to and play games with.

Pizza at the Flying Pie in Lake Oswego

We took a spontaneous trip to Cannon Beach. It was cold, windy and very chilly but still had a great time.

While Jen and I were at the coast, Wayne took the kids to a blazer game. They had amazing seats 10 rows behind the hoop and loved every minute of it. Of course if I would have been in town they never would have painted their faces....the perks of having a fun Dad!
