We're Going On A Wild Ride

The week is Vacation Bible School--"Avalanche Ranch". Today was Sunglasses day.

Prepping

The kids have been helping me go through the bonus room and organize the toys and get rid of the stuff we don't need any more. We then moved all the "stuff" we are keeping into the middle so that we can now paint the room. Believe it our not we had a ton that we donated and a recycling bin plump full. I have some pack rats!

Today we traded in the green minivan and the pickup for a new Toyota Sienna. Wayne was sad to say good-bye to the "Rig" but the kids are thrilled to have a window that goes down. Someday you will see me in a fast sports car......someday :-)

Emily & Morgan are officially done with Second Grade! We joined the Hedges and the Rehms for a celebration dinner at Red Robin. Then it was home for a push-up in the back of the pick-up. The years are flying by!

The Duck Park

Max and Pey rode bikes and had a picnic lunch at the duck park this am. After school we headed over to the Raleigh's house so that we could all say good-bye to Grandma Sue. Luckily we will see her and Papa in a couple weeks in Montana.

Monday Morning Coffee

Peyton and Max are living quite the life these days. This morning we met at the Starbucks on the Tektronix's campus for coffee. Wayne came over to say hello. It is going to be a shock to the system when Grandma leaves and we go back to our normal life. It's like a party everyday with Grandma Sue!

Dinner Guest

Grandma is staying over at the Ralieghs so we invited her over for Sunday dinner. Wayne made his famous teriyaki and we had to sneak in a few card games also.

Belated Celebration

We finally went out to celebrate Jill and Wayne's May birthdays.....fun that Mom could join us.

I DID IT!!!!

Returned from San Diego yesterday after I completed the San Diego Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon. There were members of Team In Training from all across the country and we raised 12.5 million dollars for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It was an amazing experience....one that I will always remember!
