Wayne had a great camp out at the annual Compadres weekend. Lots of good food(the second chef from the left is my cousin Adam), big fires and I am sure big stories.

Guys Weekend

Wayne and Jim are off at Fort Stevens....near Astoria, Oregon for a guys camp out. My cousin Adam hosts this event every year...think it is up to 30 some guys now.

Pizza Night

Wayne golfed after work tonight, so we thought it was the perfect night to make our own pizzas.

After dinner Wayne decides to show the kids a football "play" and is throwing them passes. I think they forgot that I was back in town :-)

Let The Party Begin!

Jill and I made it safe and sound to Billings. We went straight from the airport to Hooligans to meet up with all the cousins. Tomorrow is the "official" birthday party so check back for more photos.

My Bags Are Packed!

Jill and I are off to Billings to celebrate our Grandma's 90th Birthday. All of our cousins and aunts and uncles will be there also. Should be a special weekend

Times are a Changin

It amazes me that at 3 1/2 years old that Max can use the mouse on the computer and knows basically what he is doing. I always say to Wayne, " What 3 year old does that?" but I think alot of 3 years do that.

Back In The Swing Of Things

With a little prodding...OK a lot....Emily is doing her homework. 3rd grade is a whole new ball game and the homework is increasing. I think we will all be learning good time management this year.

Meet the Teacher Day

Today Max went to meet his preschool teacher Mrs. Jager. This is the same teacher the girls had 5 years ago!!!
He was able to look around the room and get used to his new environment.
Wednesday is the first "official" of school.....stay tuned.

Rally Sunday

Snow cones, cotton candy, rock wall, bouncey house, cousins.....great way to start off Sunday school.

Wayne is very proud that he figured out how to replace the post that was holding up two sections of the fence.

The days are back to Max and I hanging out. We are enjoying our time together since preschool is sneaking up on us.

A "Real" Webkinz

Max is so excited to have his own Webkinz.....now he doesn't have to beg his sisters to use theirs.

3rd Grade!!!

I just took Morgan and Emily to school for the first day of 3rd grade. Unbelievable!
They both were so excited and looked so grown-up. Lots of familiar faces in both of their classrooms. A couple more weeks and then it's Max's turn.

Oregon State Fair

Today we headed down to the Oregon State Fair. The kids had a ball looking at all the animals. Morgan has decided she wants to live on a farm.

Elvis Live on NW 23rd

Tonight Wayne and I had a fun date night. We went to a new( to us) Thai restaurant in the Pearl District. Then we went to Papa Hayden's for dessert and coffee. It was a great night so we got a table outside. On the corner across the street was this guy dressed up like Elvis....he had a karaoke machine and sang the whole time. He was kind of a creepy looking Elvis but he sounded like him. People would walk by and either be disgusted or they would love it and tip him and request songs. I guess he is there every weekend. We thought it was fun, free, live entertainment !
