Grandma Great Is Here!

Grandma Great, Penny and Grandma Sue arrived today for the annual Invasion. Grandma couldn't believe how tall the girls were getting....almost as tall as she is.

It's A Snow Day

We woke up this morning to a little bit of snow! The kids were excited....they have been wishing for snow. I don't think it will last long but for the moment it looks really pretty. For us in the Portland area an inch of snow is very exciting. I told Wayne that for being raised in Chicago and me in Montana we are really unprepared for snow. None of our kids have waterproof mittens, boots, snow pants-nothing....but if it rains...HEY....we know what to do!

Morgan turned her large can into Mickey Mouse. Her friends will put their Valentine's in the top in between the ears. This was our first time doing paper mache at home.....think we are all hooked.

Emily's Wishing Well

Emily completed her" Valentine container" for school. Everyone was given a huge can from school to decorate any way they wanted. Emily decided she wanted to make a wishing well. She said it turned out exactly how she pictured....pretty cute!

Max & I had a photo project today. We put up all the school pictures in the upstairs hallway. Not a professional job but we were proud of our accomplishment.

Painting By Numbers

When it is cold, wet, windy and dark at 2 in the afternoon..... I decided this would keep me sane. I went to Michael's and bought myself a paint by number kit. Very tedious but thrilled me. You better pray for sunshine or you just might get a lovely painting for your next birthday :-)

After many hours on the Internet and checking out various truck dealerships.....Wayne is the proud owner of a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac.
All 3 kids can fit in it and he can HAUL anything his little heart desires.
Very fun to have a red vehicle.

Back To The Grind

After weeks of sleeping in, playing on their DS, hanging out with Mickey....it's back to reality. Alarm clocks, homework, piano, etc....actually the kids have adjusted better than me :-)

Coach Wayne is Back

Today was the first practice for the girls 3rd grade basketball team. Wayne and a friend of ours are coaching Emily, Morgan and 10 other girls. Everyone is excited for a fun season.

Not a Proud Moment

Well it's 8 days into January and my Christmas decorations are still on the dining room table waiting to be put away. After all the hoop la of Christmas and a week in Disney....I am worn out. I keep waiting for this magical burst of energy but it hasn't hit yet. Maybe tomorrow?!
