Happy Halloween

The girls are off to school this morning with their Halloween costumes on...they have a parade at school. Emily is "Emily the Green Fairy" and Morgan is Glenda the Good Witch. Both costumes are compliments of Grandma Tina and her sewing machine. We are lucky to have a Grandma that can whip out costumes on request.

I ran to Target tonight while Wayne handled dinner. Chips and Bean Dip were the menu. When I said to Emily "that's real healthy?!".....she said, "We had MILK"

Happy Saturday

Today the girls spray painted their hair red for the last game for the Hawks.


Tonight E & M's good friend Haley is spending the night. They are sneaking in some ice cream and part of a movie before bedtime.

Soccer

Tonight is the last soccer practice with the final game tomorrow morning. The girls have had a fun season and have learned more about the game. Here are a couple pictures of them with Coach Ashley and their trophies.

The girls are out of school today for parent/teacher conferences so we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and head out to the pumpkin patch. It was fun to go during the week when it isn't too crowded.
Both of Emily & Morgan's teachers had great things to say about them at school and how eager they both are to learn. Think we will go out for a fun dinner tonight to celebrate.

We Miss Them Already

Mom and Dad got an early start this morning. They hopped in the truck by 6:30am heading east. They are hoping to make it to Spokane or Cordilane(sp?) tonight and then home tomorrow. Here is a picture from the past week.

Plan B!!!

Mom and Dad were scheduled to fly out this morning. At around 10am Dad asked if we wanted to take a ride to the Ford dealership.....he was going to buy a new truck! So Jill took Max home with her and Wayne, Dad, Mom and I were off to the dealership. Dad is now the proud owner of a 2008 Ford Ranger....only problem is they have to get it home. So they are leaving tomorrow morning and driving back to Billings.
The girls had a sad good bye to G'ma Sue and Papa this morning....they were very surprised and happy to see them at the bus stop this afternoon. Dad's birthday is Sunday so this is his birthday present to himself!

Raleighs, Coxes, Simmons, Trasks & Acobas

We were all in town this morning so we all met at Jim & Jill's for coffee and pumpkin bread. Fun to all be together.

Only In Oregon

Torrential downpours this am but we were at soccer at 9am. Papa stayed home with Max to play games and stay warm. Dedicated Grandma Sue watched from the car.

Games & Cousins

Maddie & Peyton are out of school for conferences so they joined us for lunch today.
Max has also been busy playing games with Papa....this morning they played Connect Four and in this picture they are playing UNO attack. Max is in heaven with Grandma Sue and Papa here....they play way more games with him than mom does :-)

Brownies!

Grandma Sue, Emily, Morgan, Max and myself went out to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner and then home for a brownie. Wayne and Papa joined Jim and Andy at the sports bar.

Yellow Day

Today was Yellow day at Max's school. He called G'ma Sue and Papa and told them to wear yellow before they flew out. Max was very surprised when they got here and they were in YELLOW!

Craft Night

Tonight was my night to host craft night. It was a fun evening of sipping wine and catching up.

This is what happens at our house after dinner!

Today the girls had probably their best soccer game of the season. It was the first time the coach had them play at the same time. They were both forwards and did an amazing job passing the ball back and forth. They both even scored a couple goals. My absolute favorite part of the game was when Emily would score a goal....the smile on Morgan's face was even bigger than Emily's. She was so happy for her. A couple other parents even said something to me about it. It was really sweet and sincere!
Then this afternoon Emily and Morgan decided to spend some of their birthday money. We were off to the store and returned with new Webkinz
everyone is happy!

Pumpkin Patch

Max and I went on his first field trip with his preschool class today. We went to Lee Berry Farms. He enjoyed the hayride and looking at the baby chickens.

Winterizing

After dinner tonight we decided that we needed to take the cushions off the patio chairs, pick up the slip n slide, pool and sneak in another mowing. The forecast is looking wet and gray :-(

Check out the picture of the kids again. Look at their shoes and coats. We've got cami rain boots, flip flops, tennis shoes, a sweatshirt, a winter coat and a rain jacket. I think we are all a little confused what time of year it is.

Halloween Houses

This afternoon the kids and I decided to make our own "Halloween Gingerbread Houses?!".....lots of fun....lots of sticky fingers :-)

Our First Bible

Emily and Morgan had a big morning at church today. The 3rd graders were presented with their own bibles at church today.
